Caroline Ndiri is the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer for the HERI Africa Research Project at the University of Embu. She is responsible for developing and implementing MEL frameworks and tools, monitoring project performance, tracking progress against planned outputs and outcomes, supporting data collection and analysis, and preparing project performance reports to inform evidence-based decision-making.
Caroline is a governance, risk management, quality assurance, and monitoring and evaluation professional with over 13 years of experience in institutional performance management, internal auditing, quality management systems, compliance, and organizational reporting. She has extensive experience in implementing ISO standards, conducting internal audits, developing risk management frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within higher education institutions.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Embu and a Certified Quality Practitioner qualification. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Kenyatta University and is a trained Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management Systems.
